First boot, installing all the updates in the universe, but I got there. Time to go play with 6 cores of awesome
Ghetto HDD mounting with: Corey
You should be able to see that the hard drive is a 2.5 inch laptop drive that I have mounted sideways with the help of a half cut screw, an onld intel fan wire and a pci bracket from my Cooler Master N300
Now this could go bad but will do it anyways. Why did Corsair make the Raptor HS30/40? I have bought the HS30's and a friend lent me his HS40's and they are the worst "gaming" headsets I have ever used, and I have tried quite a few from Logitech G, Senhiser, plantronics and even some thermaltake ones and some were great and some were not so good, but these were just the worst. Where do I start? Well they are as uncomfortable as having bricks strapped to your ears, the sound quality is crap and… See More
yeah they were only $45 but still from Corsair who have never let me down. Then there is the headband, the foam is lile a rock so it may aswell not be there and then the extremley long 9 foot cable that tangles so darn easily, minimal movement and after an hour I have already lost most of the cable into a ball of, well, cable. To be totally honest here, the only thing corsair did right with the HS30 at least was the mic and audio splitter, so congrats for making a completley useless product, oh and the mic quality seems alright too.
Sorry for the rant but I just think people should know how bad this headset is, or at least how bad I think it is haha.
Headsets are like keyboards and mice, if you want the one that is right for you then you have to try them out for yourself. Save the reviews for the performance and quality side of things...
