Immediate area is no good for that unfortunately, between street lighting and my eyesight.
There is an observatory I could visit, just over an hour and a half walk away.
At the very least, there shouldn't be any street lighting near it.
May try that sometime after I get new glasses, which are long overdue.
A holiday in Scotland many years ago was the last time I got a good view of the night sky.
