With some unexpected costs last week my new GPU plans are a bit further away.
Still, I think I can still make it work, if my plan works out I can order a new GPU in the last week of this month. Still leaning towards the RX 9070XT but 5070Ti's have gone down significantly in price (there's about a 150 Euro difference which was 400 a few weeks ago).
But the 12 volt BS connector really is holding me back, the 3x8pin connector on the AORUS RX9070XT definetly looks favorable, but if I want to stay with… See More
a white build it probably ends up being the XFX Mercury.
Regardless I want the OC version of the 9070XT @ 3100 instead of the baseline 2970.... but if my budget ends up only allowing the default 2970MHz then that's a choice i might still make.
But this whole plan depends on a single factor, there's no short term workaround so it either works this month or it won't.
I picked a Asus TUF 9070 XT OC because of the 3x8pins. This 12VHPWR connector is scaring me more than the monsters under my bed.

say what they will about that 12V connector. As a veteran PC builder. I am scared of it. Hahaha
