I need to ask those who follow this a bit more then I. I'm running a 6700k procesor and I know it ain't "supported" by Microsoft. So why did I just get the update to Windows 11???
I know I'm not in the betas or anything like that nor did I want an update, at least for now. Left the PC on since last night, just came home and there was an update waiting for restart 🎉🎉 it's Windows 11 time

1.) Your MotherBoard surely does have TPM 2.0 and "Secure Boot" Enabled.
2.) Some *later* models of intel CPUs of 6th and 7th Gen........ are definitely behaving (and have features) like the 8th Gen!
Maybe that is WHY they are supported (despite NOT *listed* as such).
Look at the intel ARK for this CPU:
ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/88195/intel-core-i76700k-processor-8m-cache-up-to-4-20-ghz.html
There is this HW-security feature listed as being supported by Your CPU:
Intel® Software… See More
Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX)

You likely have TPM 2.0 on your MB...also, the list of CPUs supported by Win11 isn't complete. Mine wasn't listed.

O.o that is odd... Honestly I would back out for the time being and have it roll back that update...
It may of been a mistake on Microsofts part. But I guess if you end up with no issues then I guess stick with it. Up to you.
