I wish I could help others on here more right now, but I do always help my immediate freinds and family. They always get my used parts. Freinds will often get my stuff free or near free. My sons PC was built from my left overs, he is 7 and is just starting to appreciate it. I was kind of lucky to get my GPU when I did right before this GPU bubble really started to get bad, around November. I have never seen anything like it before in my life, I remember once upon a time a RAM shortage and also a… See More
HDD shortage, maybe late 00s? I hope to be able to gift others on here one day.
I wish I could help!!!! I was helped!!! I'm still gratefully using that help!!!
Most I could do right now is offer older CPU's and DDR3, not a lot, but some... maybe some laptop DDR3. but shipping one of these full would be too expensive!!
I have some I7-2600, I5-4570, Core 2 Duo E8500, that last one isn't much help, mostly something retro builds would be into. I'm not sure about the laptop memory, HP 2GB PC3 10600 CL9 BPC SODIMM - 572293-B88, they used to make it so they only work on some systems,… See More
and proprietary.
But the best way to hurt the scalpers is to let them sit on the parts. But, sadly, there will be people with tons of disposable income who don't care.
Even if I could have interest, I have ditched all desktop parts (sold everything) and went to the laptop only because the desktop was too big for my desk and I couldn't bring the desktop with me to the student dorm or at the ranch for radio hobby. I have been learning and found out my desire to have the laptop only to have much less hassle.
Also even if you tried to sell the GPU at a sensible price, that GPU, once you sell it to someone, that someone will actually put a higher price and it will be… See More
the same all over unless you sell the GPU to Gtribers.
I currently have 0 spare parts. All my spares went into making my sisters machine. I still need a few parts to finish off my rig myself... mainly the GPU, but no way am I paying a bloody scalper or paying these redonculous prices for one
Only spare I have is the HD 7950, but it gets gltchy when it gets warm. New TIM doesn't fix it. So it's just a test GPU. I have two others with bigger problems, not sure why I haven't tossed them yet. But my participation against scalping was not paying a scalper or even thinking about it. I got my 3060 at MSRP from Newegg, and if hadn't of gotten lucky, I'd still be using the HD 7950 in my new rig.
I have no spare GPU at present, but when I do I would like to sell at a sensible price. That will not be soon though I suspect, as I'd like a spare working system as a whole, so when I have budget, opportunity, or reason to get something better than 750 Ti for (soon to be) second/spare system is uncertain.
