Anyone using Corsair ML120 or ML140 fans? Want to know how the fans is in general and fan noise. Looking to get 3x ML120 and 1 x ML140
The bigger the fan the lower the RPM to get the same cooling results. For instance my previous case had 2 200mm fans in it which ran at 600'ish RPM, dead silent. So if I were you I would pick the 140 fans without a 2nd thought. But ofcourse that's my personal preference.

been using ml 140's for a few years and there a lot quieter than the original fans on the h115i or the old case fans, not to mention they can all be pwm controlled and run at super low speed only problem is you can kill the bearings if your running them on variable power or upside down meaning i was limited in which way round i could set up my pc's air movement and needed a sata pwm splitter since my mobo only had a single pwm header, a minor annoyance rather than a giant expense

Bought them at release years ago. Tested them, didn't even install them in the case because the noise is real. At max rpm, they're like hairdryers. Moving air like crazy but at a cost of significant noise. They're quality product, well made but avoid them if you're going for a silent build.
