My LG V10 had the dreaded bootloop two days ago. The main issue with the bootloop was all the 2FA that was tied to the phone. I dug up my old S3 and started trying to obtain it again but I found out that Google Authenticator doesn't really port over your 2FAs to another phone which means that I would've been extremely screwed.
