So I've been playing games on my outdated CPU for the past few years and I haven't had much issues with it. But lately, I've been pretty unhappy with my set up and the stutters that I've been experiencing, even in games like Diablo 3. With the release of Anthem and The Division 2 on the horizon, I figured it was finally time to upgrade my PC. Since new AMD CPUs were all AM4 and would need DDR4 RAM, I decided to just build a pretty much new PC rather than strip half the parts from my current one.

So, I'm picking up or having my parts all delivered on Saturday, allowing me to set it up and be ready to play it through the extended President's Day weekend.
Case: Lian Li Lancool One Digital Gold Limited Edition ATX Case
CPU: AMD Ryzen 2 2600
Motherboard: ASUS Prime X470-Pro
PSU: Corsair RM850X
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3000Mhz (2x8GB)
Storage: Intel 660p M.2 2280 512GB SSD + 2TB Micron SSD + 2TB HDD
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 1070 SC
The CPU is only a 2600 for now because I'm waiting for the Zen 2 chips to release. I figured that the 2600 is fine for now until the new chips release. Also, I bought a X470 in order to limit the amount of hardware I'll have to buy in the future when the new chip releases. The GTX 1070 is from my current build. It's the only thing moving over. I'll be putting my old R9 270 GPU into the current PC and it'll serve as a streaming machine or something. I'll probably take my current Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler off the FX-8320 and switch it with the Wriath cooler that comes with the Ryzen. Anyways, it's going to be a great weekend! Preloading Anthem already to play on Friday before my parts come.
