To post images on GTribe you must be officially verified.
■ Follow ALL four steps:
1) Complete BOTH your Personal and PC profile at gamingtribe.com/edit
2) Upload a real forward-facing profile photo and a photo of your PC or laptop.
3) Add some friends.
4) Remain active on the GTribe network mostly by posting your own status updates.
Our system selects candidates among the most active members who have completed their profiles. All approved candidates are contacted via GT Messenger… See More
to confirm their new verified status, and receive the check mark badge by their name.
Verified members of our community also have exclusive opportunities to win prizes in giveaways and special promotions.
[If you think your account meets the requirements for verification and we somehow missed you, please contact Alex Anderson]
Meh, guess I'll have to get more active.

This is TOTAL BS. I come here to read articles.. now you're trying to force people to jump through your inane hoops. I bet you only select winners from your stupid list of "verified" users.
You're going to fail, GT, with this heavy handed regulation.

I had a real photo up of myself (one of my modelling photos) and I was told to post a real photo of myself...

Why are photos and friends a requirement? I'm here to read not socialize. I thinking posting is a fair requirement though.

Yes this is a way to get more active people, but I still can't agree with it being necessary to post and have friends here. Like others have said, some come here to read articles and don't necessarily want to have to go through this verification. Please do reconsider.

Not a fan of the requirements to getting verified. My profile photo has always been the same everywhere and it's never a real photo of myself. My PC photo is fairly accurate though. I'm not a social butterfly either. I don't have any friends on here to add. So I should just start adding random names then? And like some others have said, I'm here to read articles, not post. I don't even update my Facebook or Twitter status on a daily or weekly basis. Kind of annoying.

Wonder what 'remain active' counts as, is one post a month enough? haha
