Did Microsoft Ruin Gaming? - While browsing across the interwebs, I came across the notion that Microsoft may be responsible for the downfall of creativity on consoles. I’d like to take that one step forward and say that Microsoft is also responsible for shoving PC gaming down a hole and trying to close the lid on top of it. It set the standard for space battle games until X-Wing was released. It also made the Soundblaster the "must have" piece of hardware, because it supported FM music and digital audio.
