hello all anyone has an idea why steam download speed is very low what could happen as i have fibre 67mb/s the average speed estimated to show that is fully working is around 41mb/s that what it shows on speedest but on steam downloading very low at maximum that reach was 5.1MB/s i know i cant get full download speed but at least a bit higher then that 5mb/s everything is connected using wired cable and im not sure if the pc can cause this issue

So today was the day i received rtx 2060 wanted soo much been testing there and there couple games the forest everything maxed out 160fps max
And i got a question as i had my previuos card and all the drivers been installed thru nvidia experience and after i boot it up on my new gpu rtx 2060 dont i have to download drivers manually ??
No need to download anything new, the same drivers are used. In fact, it's a side grade since the 2060 shouldn't be vastly stronger than a 1080.

Hello all anyone know about this broadban hometelecom provider currently i got standard broadband which is 16mbs and i cannot be getting any higher at my prorperty but its weird that the next door people can get fibre but only me i can only get i been contacting them and what they said i need to wait for gods know how long its kinda frustating downloading steam games at 1mbs and im paying 24 quid a month for this amount i should be getting higher at least anyone with the good knowledge knows what… See More
I don't know about that specific ISP but it really all depends on where the fibre terminates and how old the copper lines in the area are. Companies are not going to put up the cost of running fibre or replacing lines for one home. There has to be a return on the investment for them to even consider it. Are there other homes near you with a similar issue? If yes, then you all need to get together and go to the ISP otherwise you're just going to have to wait. Don't feel to bad about it man. When downloading you are limited to the slowest speed. You can have the fastest internet speed, but depending on the servers internet speed, bandwidth and how many other computers are downloading. All affects how fast you can download.
