The tube management affects case compatibility, and is also fighting against itself in one way.
In a case without a whole lot of extra width, that might force a shorter radiator due to smaller 120mm fans over 140.
That for some people might introduce another aesthetic issue, as that space generally looks better filled up fully.

and even acoustic benefits from longer, larger radiator with larger fans for that aesthetic improvement.
Great where it works best, just does it do that all too often ?
