Short update on the GPU issue. The 8400 Gs turned out to be weaker than the integrated Intel 3000. Luckily the shop refunded it. They also ran diagnostics on the 1070, but found no flaws. The next step would be to test a different PSU, but I don't have a spare to use. Not sure what I'm gonna do... #gpu
