The Personal Giveaway Link (PGL)

The Personal Giveaway Link (or PGL) is a proprietary promotional system developed exclusively for participants of the GTribe giveaways.

Here's how it works: When a giveaway participant uses your PGL to enter the giveaway, our system instantly associates their entry with yours, and if that participant wins a giveaway's Grand Prize, you will receive the Grand Prize too!

This is a unique promotional system that encourages sharing of the giveaway, while also slightly increasing the odds of winning a Grand Prize. The process does not work in reverse, so if you win a Grand Prize, participants who entered using your PGL do not receive any prizes.

The PGL is sent to all giveaway participants via an email confirmation when first entering the giveaway, but can also be obtained using these simple steps:

  1. Login at www.gamingtribe.com
  2. Go to your Profile Page at www.gamingtribe.com/profile/
  3. Under your profile image you will find the following statement: “...entered the [NAME] giveaway.” [NAME] being the name of the giveaway.
  4. Click/tap the word PGL to copy the link to the clipboard. Example:
...entered the Pure giveaway
...1 member used his PGL to enter the giveaway

Now you can paste the copied link on text messages, emails, Snapchats, IM messages, blogs, forums, websites, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, Steam groups, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Plus+ and others.

Once someone enters the giveaway using your PGL, you will see a number by "...[X] member(s) used his PGL to enter the giveaway" on your Profile Page. Clicking the number will display a list of every person who used your PGL to enter the giveaway.

IMPORTANT: Do not post your PGL link on GTribe as the network engine converts it back to a regular link, and you will not get credit for entries.
